Dear student,
This page can help you prepare for the test...
by using these preparation strategies that you can implement:
Unit Objectives
|
Read these on the "Home page" of this website |
Tops Labs
|
Re-read these and check your responses - these labs are vital to your understanding of the concepts and skill for the unit |
Worksheets
|
Whether you completed these in class or for Homework, check through these as they are designed to reinforce concepts and skills |
The text book
|
This was scanned as a PDF file to help you. By reading it, you will reinforce understanding of the unit's key ideas. (Block C & Block G - see the link on Edline)
|
Daily class notes
|
Read them and if you have questions about them - talk to your friends - you will be doing them a favor - it will help them to discuss ideas with you also.
|
| Afternoon Classes |
On Tuesday and Thursday (and possibly other days by negotiation) you have been given the opportunity to get extra assistance in completing Tops labs, worksheets or just to ask questions about the unit. Don't miss this opportunity. |
Some questions to get you started:
-
Read the unit objectives; can you do all of those?
-
When you do lab and question sheets, does the teacher comment on your understanding or does your teacher often correct your answers?
-
Do you find yourself helping your friends more or do they help you?
Ask yourself some of those good questions and use them as indicator.
If you feel uncertain about your level of understanding ask your teacher how you can best target your effort to produce maximum grade.
We want you to earn an A. Talk to your teacher so we can help you!
Sincerely;
Mr. Christiansen, Couts & Reimer
