A4  DIMENSIONED SKETCH of Practical Project - SUMMATIVE

DUE DATE: March 13th 2009

The A4 dimensioned sketch must include the following elements:

Sketch of your entire project (using a straight edge to draw lines)

Key dimensions

Labels - all items that are drawn must be labelled

Pressure formula and explanation of how the transfer of energy or work ocurred.

The RUBRIC used for assessing the A4 Dimensioned Sketch will include:

• All design criteria are met and size limitation (for Rube Goldberg and Dentist's Chair) is not exceeded.
• Neatness and clarity - easy to understand, uses entire A4 page
• Labels - all items that are drawn must be labelled
• Materials - no materials list is required, but the labels are required to note the type of material that will be used for each item/element of the machine
• Pressure calculation and work/energy transfer explanation is clearly shown.
